Community Health Facilities:
Community Health Nursing department has adapted many villages in and around vallioor in which, it provides comprehensive health care services. Students are provided community health experience in Government primary Health Centre Panagudi, Thulukarpatti and Urban Centre at Tirunelveli.
Library Facilities:
The college has a well furnished library established for Nursing students. It has over5000 books, 50 National and international Journals, Magazines and Newspaper for the use of students / staff. Library functions nearly 8 hours daily under the guidance of professionally qualified
librarians. Students are encouraged to make use of all resources and abide by the rules regulations of the library.
Health Services:
On admission, students undergo a physical examination. An annual medical examination is also conducted. Students are immunised against infectious disease whenever necessary.
The candidate must inform us about any long term/ chronic illness on admission itself.
Hostel Facilities:
Students can avail hostel facilities. Each room has attached bathroom and toilet. Students are provided with cot facilities. Students are advised not to keep any valuable goods, jewellery with them, as they are responsible for any loss of belongings.
Visiting & Shopping:
All Saturday & Sunday are visiting days provided they have no classes or duty. Visiting time is from 9am to 6.30pm on visiting days.
1st year students are allowed to go for shopping only with their parents concern’s can go along with their friends on Saturdays alone.
Mess:
All the students are expected to dine in the hostel mess. Mess charges and accommodation charges are Rs ———————–) per month. Students are expected to clear the monthly room rent and mess bill before 5th on of every month. Failing which a fine of Rs. 100 /- will be collected. Mess bill is subjected to change according to the Management.
