Nehru Nursing College places a strong emphasis on community-oriented nursing education, recognizing that holistic healthcare extends beyond hospital walls. As part of the B.Sc Nursing curriculum, students are actively engaged in community health training and rural outreach, in line with Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Dr. M.G.R. Medical University requirements.
The college has adopted several villages surrounding Vallioor as part of its rural health outreach initiative.
