Student Nurses Association (SNA)
The Student Nurses Association (SNA) at Nehru Nursing College is a dynamic student-led body affiliated with the Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) at the local, district, state, and national levels. It serves as a platform for student empowerment, professional grooming, and networking within the nursing community.
Key Objectives
- Foster leadership skills and social responsibility among nursing students
- Promote unity, cooperation, and ethical conduct in the nursing profession
- Provide exposure to seminars, workshops, competitions, and national-level conferences
Activities & Benefits:
- Organizing health awareness programs, blood donation camps, poster exhibitions, and community outreach
- Participation in quiz competitions, cultural festivals, sports events, and professional discussions
- Hands-on experience in event management, public speaking, and team leadership
Membership Details:
- Annual membership fee: ₹2,500/-
- Mandatory for all students, collected at the beginning of the academic year
- Membership entitles students to participate in TNAI events and certification programs

- Maintain professional and personal ties between alumni and the institution

- One-time fee of ₹500/-, collected from students during their final year
